Posts are distributed at 2 per division across the following railway divisions:

Note: Age relaxation for SC/ST, OBC, and Ex-Servicemen will be as per Railway norms.

General Eligibility:

• Pass in 12th (+2 stage) or equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate
• The 50% aggregate condition is relaxed for ST/SC and Ex-Servicemen candidates, and is not insisted upon where the candidate holds a higher qualification such as Graduation or Post-Graduation

Special Requirements for Specific Posts:

• Jr. Clerk cum Typist / Accounts Clerk cum Typist: Typing proficiency of 30 WPM in English or 25 WPM in Hindi is ESSENTIAL
• Artisan (Technical Categories): Candidates need a pass in Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board along with an ITI certificate. A Diploma in Engineering is NOT considered as an alternative higher qualification for this post.

• 10th pass along with an ITI certificate from an institution recognized by NCVT/SCVT or its equivalent, OR
• Alternatively, candidates holding a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT are also eligible

This recruitment is exclusively for candidates with a genuine, verifiable background in the Scouts & Guides movement. Candidates lacking ANY of the following conditions are NOT eligible to apply, regardless of educational qualification:

Essential Requirements:

1. Scout/Guide Rank: Must hold one of the following ranks:
   • President Scout, OR
   • President Guide, OR
   • Rover, OR
   • Ranger, OR
   • Holder of Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) in any section
2. Active Membership: Must have been an active member of a Scouts organization for the last 5 years (from 01 April 2019 onwards). This must be proven through a "Certificate of Activeness" as per Annexure-C (original document - MANDATORY)
3. Event Participation Record: Must have attended:
   • TWO events at National Level OR All India Railways level, AND
   • TWO events at State level
4. Continuous Activeness: Must demonstrate activeness for at least 5 years covering 2019-20, 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25, and 2025-26, and must continue to remain active till date

• Certificate of Activeness (Annexure-C) is a MANDATORY original document - photocopies will not be accepted
• Activeness records must cover all specified years: 2019-20, 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25, 2025-26
• Candidate must continue to remain active in Scouts/Guides till the date of application
• Event participation must be at specified levels (National or All India Railways level + State level)
• Without valid Scout/Guide rank and Certificate of Activeness, applications are NOT eligible
